For the fourth consecutive year, Twentytú attended at the “Business With Social Value” congress, with the aim of collaborating with social companies that have people with disabilities in their workforce.
The event, held on December 20 at the Palacio de Congresos de Cataluña, becomes an important meeting point that allows real business opportunities between companies and special work centers or labor insertion companies. In this way, it contributes to improve the employability of the most vulnerable groups and the economic sustainability of social enterprises.

Socially responsible business opportunities
“Business With Social Values” is a solidary initiative promoted by the Icaria Iniciatives Socials entity whose main goal is to facilitate contact between those companies that have strong social values, like Twentytú, and the social providers that participate in this annual date.
In addition, the day is complemented with different speeches led by local and invited social entrepreneurs. Activities, such as workshops and round tables, which aim to raise awareness of the importance of employment for the most vulnerable groups like people with functional diversity.
On this occasion, the agenda began with a workshop about innovation and sales techniques, given by Jordi Urbea, general director of Ogilvy & Mather – Barcelona, in which several especial work centers participated, and with a round table in which presented the initiative and spoke of the labor of special employment centers.

The meeting also had the participation of Lluís Soldevila, trainer and consultant in Actitudes de Alto Rendimiento, who offered and interesting speech about the self-knowledge as the engine of success, and Daniel Levine, founder and director of the trends consultant Avant-Guide Institute, who spoke about the most important trends in alternative environments.
There was also a meet and greet between buyers and social sellers during the coffee break, and the complete lunch offered by the solidarity chefs.

For Twentytú, being able to participate at Business With Social Values has been a great opportunity.
