Tips for planning a family vacation
For a good vacation planning, it’s essential to choose the right accommodation according to the type of trip to make, for family vacations. At Hostel TwentyTú we have quadruple rooms with two bunk beds, lockers, air conditioning and heating, and all of them have private bathroom and shower.
Choosing the right dates for your vacations in Barcelona is essential. Although it’s a city with good weather and plans to do throughout the year, the most advisable months to visit the Catalan capital, are from May to September. This is the time of year with more daylight hours, so you can take advantage of every day during your family vacation.
Activities for families at TwentyTú
During the summer and autumn months, on Mondays on the hostel terrace we offer Karaoke sessions where you can sing and dance to the greatest hits of yesterday and today.On Tuesdays and Thursdays salsa lessons with our Cuban dancer Wilfredo who will teach you the easiest way to move and coordinate in this type of Latin dance.
On Wednesdays and Fridays you can enjoy live music performances, of very varied styles; from the most electric and danceable sounds to the quietest nights, where you can enjoy the sound of the piano and guitar of our singer Pablo Seijo.
Throughout the year, on the terrace of the hostel, we perform paella cooking shows with an expert chef in this delicacy. And when it’s ready, let’s eat paella!
In the common areas there are play areas for children, with a projector to watch movies on request, dining area, sofas and TV, computers and shared kitchen.
To get to know the city, you can rent bicycles for both adults and children, visiting Barcelona as a family. We leave you some bike routes ideal for the whole family.
